spent most of our last tour putting out fires...so to speak... touring is only hardest in one aspect : taking care of things at home. we had a great time on our last tour, perhaps our most smoothest and consistently fun. we miss all of our tour mates and hope that we run into them soon. recently we have been working on new songs. we have also spent a few weeks getting over the flu, catching up on sleep, and putting real nutrition in our body (not just fermented barley and hops...).
Cal has taking up trade with a friend and has been learning everything there is to learn about Motor Bikes--fixing them, etc.
Ryan has taken up yoga breathing classes and has been swearing by them, slowly attempting to convert the rest of us.
Diego has been fixing up his place and has finally enoyed nights out without the presence of cough or pending doom in his lungs and chest.
I've been working on a film that i started before we went on tour. I wrote and directed it and have been putting my nose to the grindstone trying to finish it. I have been fortunate to have good friend, Ravi, help me in this editing process--slowly we are making a lovely piece that i can say I am quite proud of.
The story is much too mystifying to describe in brevity so i will post pictures and maybe a clip or two at a later date.
we are working on writing more and more songs and are looking forward to having a slew of material for 4 LPs --though that only means we will release one full-length record, but finally a full length!!! our very first!!!
you can now find different demos and songs that we've written throughout the year hovering around the vortex of theses here inter-wombs...
all in all staying busy - which they say is a blessing. so stay tuned for more news and updates as i predict we will be full of them in the coming months.
we look forward to seeing all of you soon.
lots of love.
