Today we celebrate mothers day ... in the spirit of that great day here is a little bit about our mothers:



Patty Ann Kirkpatrick was Born just outside of Sedalia, Missouri. Daughter of Merle who played the fiddle, and Goldie who was a drummer--both in the family band!! She was a Kindergarden Teacher most of her life She raised a boy and a girl in a happy home in Kansas. She loves Soul Music, Antiques, Gardening, a great beverage, and Life (you can see it in her smile)



Diego's mom, Rebecca Guerrero was born and raised in Mexico City before moving to the bay area of California with her husband to start a family. She is an incredible cook and makes an amazing morisqueta!!! She is a family friend of Vincente Fernandez and her favorite music group is Los Bukis. She raised 3 boys and wants to get Diego's name tattooed...



Cals Mom, Linda Love was born in Regina Saskatchewan, Canada. An Interior designer. She loves theater, music and recently directed a theatre group in the domincan Republic where she currently resides.

Harley's mom Guadalupe Esmeralda Cortez was born in Moyuta, Guatemala. She lived in a Mayan village of Santiago Atitlan upon marrying his father, a village shaman and painter. She raised 4 boys virtually on her own in Inglewood, CA and Queens, NY. She gave Harley his first guitar (which she got from a garage sale, a stringless 1950's kay for 8 dollars). A caretaker and nurse most of her life she has a storytellers heart. Upon seeing Harley as a kid watching Kurt Cobain unplugged on MTV she told him she could see him doing that when he gets older. Today also happens to be her birthday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUPE!
