the shows with the French Kicks have been really pleasant.

SF was fantastic as always! Sacramento treated us well and many a kind souls we’ve met. A great crowd for a Monday night.

On the i-5 right now. Heading back to Los Angeles. We are listening to the new FK record 'Swimming' which is just amazing!

The fields are drying out and are painted yellow and brown. Upon occasion there are patches of green with sheep and cows scattered indiscriminately. We’ve got a yearning desire to stop at one of these ranch houses and just ask to use the rest room or perhaps ask for a tall glass of iced-tea. But alas there is a subdued exhaustion and an acknowledgement that the world in our heads is not always played out to our idealism.

Tonight we'll head over to the French Kicks Los Angeles CD release party and hang out with those fine gentlemen without a show to fragment a whiskey fueled conversation.

Wed. we’ll go into the studio and rehearse a few new tunes for the upcoming tour. Then We’ll continue the rest of the California dates with FK.
